“Retro” Utah Postcards

My goal with this series of postcards is to capture the same spirit as the vintage design we commonly associate with postcards. The patterns and artworks I chose are mid-century modern and art deco styles, which include angular lines, organic shapes, and solid contrasting colors.

The type is minimal, since the pattern is the primary focal point of the postcards. The patterns are crafted in a way that they represent the places they are advertising in a subtle and abstract way.
